About Alick

Alick first took an interest in photography when he was about 14 after finding an old camera that belonged to one of his grandparents. Over time, he read book after book on photography and took many pictures, honing his eye as the years passed.
After using film cameras for years, Alick made the leap into the world of digital technology. He still believes, however, that images should be made in-camera and not after hours of post-processing (but effects for clients are still possible).
Nowadays Alick uses professional digital SLR cameras and lenses as well as film if a job requires it.
He is currently based around Southampton, Winchester and South Wales depending on times of year, but is usually willing to travel elsewhere provided costs are covered and he is available.
